Zeina Nahleh, MD, FACP

Dr. Nahleh is currently Vice Chair for Cancer Institute, Director of the Maroone Cancer Center and Regional Chair of Hematology-Oncology at Cleveland Clinic Florida. She is a Clinical Professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and subspecializes in Breast Cancer. Dr. Nahleh has American Board certification in Oncology. She has received her medical training at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon and the George Washington University in Washington, DC, USA. Previously, she held several leadership roles at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio; Wayne State University, Michigan; and at Texas Tech University, Texas.
Dr. Nahleh has had numerous research grants, and is a Principal Investigator in the NCI cooperative group SWOG, and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). Her research focuses on innovative treatment of breast cancer, cancer survivorship care, cancer disparity and improving the quality of life of patients with cancer. Dr. Nahleh is a member in the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Guideline Methodology and Breast Advisory committees. Dr. Nahleh has received numerous awards including the “Patient Experience Medal of Excellence” in 2022. She has authored over 100 articles in the field of cancer and breast cancer research. She has presented in national and international cancer meetings and serves on the editorial board of numerous medical journals.

- Dr. Nahleh subspecializes in Breast Cancer and Cancer Survivorship. Her research interests were funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the Cancer Prevention Institute of Texas (CPRIT) and several scientific agencies, and focuses on innovative treatment of breast cancer, cancer survivorship care and improving the quality of life of cancer patients.Dr Nahleh has authored over 50 articles and book chapters in the field of cancer and breast cancer research. Dr. Nahleh has a double American Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology.

She served in the NCI – Neoadjuvant and Metastatic breast committees and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Physicians.
