Dr. Shahzad received his MD degree from the Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. He subsequently completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the One Brooklyn Health/Interfaith Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. He is currently a Hematology and Medical Oncology Chief Fellow at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute/University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, Tampa, FL. His research interests include understanding the tumor immune microenvironment, and cutting-edge cellular therapies, including hematopoietic stem cell transplant and chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapies.
