Dr. Meri Muminovic is an enthusiastic and dedicated hematologist oncologist. Dr. Muminovic’s academic journey began with the completion of her Medical Doctorate at American University of the Caribbean, followed by an Internal Medicine Residency at Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan.

Her commitment to specializing in Hematology Oncology led her to recently graduating from her Hematology Oncology fellowship at Memorial Healthcare System where she served as chief fellow and acquired specialized training in diagnosing and treating all oncological disorders with a special interest in thoracic oncology. Her recent completion of training equips her with the latest advancements in chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies, ensuring that her patients receive the most current and effective treatments available.

She is a newly appointed and board certified medical oncology faculty member at Memorial Cancer Institute. Dr. Muminovic is actively involved in initiating research aimed at understanding the complexities of lung cancer and exploring novel therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes. Her journey as a newly graduated medical oncologist marks the beginning of a career dedicated to making significant strides in improving the lives of those affected by cancer.
