Dr. Hammami is a hematology and medical oncology fellow. Born in Aleppo, Syria, he was raised in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and earned his medical degree from the University of Sharjah College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and was board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2024. He is currently completing fellowship training at the University of South Florida/Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. His clinical and research interests include plasma cell disorders and cellular therapies, with a focus on risk stratification and early intervention. He is also a research collaborator with the Department of laboratory medicine and pathology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota.
