Chakra Chaulagain, MD, FACP is a staff hematologist/oncologist at Maroone Cancer Center of Cleveland Clinic Florida. He is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. His area of expertise include clonal plasma cell disorders as well as other hematologic malignancies. Currently, he serves as the director of multiple myeloma and amyloidosis program at Cleveland Clinic Florida. His current research projects and clinical trials focus on multiple myeloma, AL amyloidosis, lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma and other malignant hematologic disorders in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic’s Taussig Cancer Institute in OH along with other academic institutions and pharmaceutical industries. Currently, he serve as the site principle investigator for clinical research and clinical trials at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He has contributed several peer reviewed publications in the field of malignant hematology with special emphasis around clonal plasma cell neoplasms.

Dr Chaulagain has been very active with FLASCO, having served in the board of director and chair of Clinical Practice Committee in the past. He currently chairs Program Committee of FLASCO.
