As noted in our previous correspondence, due to rising cases of the Delta Variant, we were directed that a virtual platform would be our only option. Unfortunately, our contracted event production team for the program who originally indicated they could handle this shift, has determined, they will be unable to support the transition to a completely virtual platform in the allotted time frame. We attempted to secure other event production companies to support our virtual need but were unsuccessful based on our limited timeframe. Therefore, AdventHealth Cancer Institute’s ASCO Direct™ Highlights Planning Committee and leadership team, with great sadness, has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 ASCO Direct™ Highlights Official Meeting scheduled for September 25 & 26, 2021. There will be no rescheduling of this year’s event. We appreciate the speakers, the supporters and exhibitors, and attendees who have registered for the event.
- If you have already registered and paid for the conference, Linda Vega will be coordinating the refunds.
- If you have reserved a room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes you will receive an email cancellation and any payment received will be automatically refunded.

ASCO has committed to a 2022 contract with AdventHealth Cancer Institute to host a ASCO Direct™ Highlights conference held at the Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes on September 24 & 25, 2022. We thank you for your support and understanding during this challenging year due to COVID-19/Delta Variant and hope to see you at the 2022 AdventHealth Cancer Institute’s ASCO Direct™ Highlights conference in Orlando, Florida!
