In 2015, the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF) (CCF) established a Research Fellowship Program to raise awareness and inspire innovative, quality research by early career investigators focused on basic and translational studies in cholangiocarcinoma.

Eligibility

Degree

  • Doctor of Medicine
  • Doctor of Philosophy
  • Doctor of Pharmacy
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Academic Level:

  • Postdoctoral Fellows, Instructors, or Junior Faculty
  • Must be within first 2 years of appointment at the time of application

Institutional Requirements:

  • Universities, hospitals or research institutions worldwide
  • Must have non-profit status

Funding

  • The total award amount is up to $50,000
  • The funding cycle is one year
  • The number of grants in each funding cycle are determined based on individual merit and availability of funds.

Review Process

  • A Scientific Review Board comprised of leading experts in the field of cholangiocarcinoma review grant applications and submit funding recommendations.
